Sandie was fantastic! She listened so carefully to the type of arrangement / style that I wanted for our flowers on my wedding day. My bouquet was perfect, and completely in tune with the relaxed vintage feel of the day. I was lucky enough to have Sandie as the florist for my beautiful winter wedding. Having been guests at a wedding that Sandie had previously designed, my then fiancé and I didn’t take long to decide that she would be the person to help us create our dream day. I have very little knowledge of floristry, yet also manage to be very opinionated, so whoever was going to take on the task of designing my wedding was going to have to have their work cut out! Sandie could not have managed the wedding (or me) any better. From initial sessions, tirelessly leafing through images with me, to the absolute perfection of the execution on the day; Sandie was amazing.
In my mind, flowers always evoke a feeling of Spring and Summer, so I was somewhat apprehensive about how they would be positioned in my vision of a ‘Winter Wonderland’ wedding. Sandie’s immense creativity managed to suppress any worries with ease by styling beautiful, wintery garlands over fire places and stunning manzanita trees as centre pieces all brandishing twinkly lights and lots of sparkle. Even the bouquets managed to have a wintery twist with the bridesmaids carrying big balls of gypsophila which were reminiscent of snow balls. My favourite piece that Sandie created however, has to be the stunning arrangement created using her very own white ice skates as a base - how ingeniously innovative and completely sensational.
I shall be recommending Sandie to every bride-to-be I know, with absolute faith that she will design them their perfect, beautiful day.
